Strangers at 47 is a weekend hotspot set amongst youngsters and even, older adults who would enjoy a good and filling meal to satisfy their cravings. It is situated at Section 17, Petaling Jaya, with limited parking spots, hence customers tend to park at the roadside of the housing neighbourhood nearby.
Let me start by expressing the service given out by Strangers at 47 crew. It was not commonly practiced by other cafes operating in both Selangor or Kuala Lumpur: respectful, optimistic, and even helpful. It was amazingly great! One of the front door service crew would reassure customers on the table settings as well as providing a small brown paper bag to avoid any dirt marks on the customer’s mask. He or she would also explain on the house ground rules to ensure that all their customers are abiding to the SOP’s set by the government on all restaurants and cafes (“new normal buh!)
Dining hours are also allocated to each table of customers, of 1.5 hours each table to ensure that other customers do not have to wait in a long queue. In addition, the environment at the café gives comforting and suitable environment for customers who wish to complete assignments or work here, with an average background sound. During peak hours, customers might need to queue a little longer, and tables are selected by customers.
As for the food, there are various options to choose from, and I must say that is utmost delicious to dine at Strangers at 47! It was yummy and delicious!
The food ordered was Spicy Cajun Chicken and Loaded Cheesy Fries. The loaded cheesy fries are what I would recommend to those who are cheese lovers, as it has a combination of both mozzarella and cheddar cheese. It has a strong cheese taste to it, and I can confirm it by saying that it is quite addictive after having a bite to it!
