Having a hard time studying? Nothing is entering your head?

Perhaps you can try this method of mine to see if it works out for you! I have been using this method ever since secondary school, and it helps me in many ways, for instance, understanding, and memorizing the key points.

1. Take notes during class. (Very Important)

I know there are some classes that are boring, and some that are interesting, but still, it is important to take notes of what the lecturer is saying as those could be the extra notes to add up to key points. It also helps you to focus and understand better on the chapters or topics that you are studying on.

2. Make your own notes.

Compile all the notes that you have and make your own notes! It is definitely easier to study as you are writing in your own lingo or vocabulary. Feel free to design your note as how you want it, or in ways that can make you study easier: mind maps, charts, bubbles, and so on. I do love making my own notes in A4 blank paper as it’s easier to read compared to the single line paper. A little creativity helps your mind rest a little and processed the notes better.

3. Write in different colours!

Writing in blue and black ink pen is definitely dull for your paper! Why not, try something new? Try writing your notes in various colours according to the importance. This could help you identify the key main points, and the elaboration of it easily. And also, it would not bore you out from studying as your eyes are receiving different colours to make studying more attractive!

4. Avoid last minute studying! Pleeeeease!

Last minute studying is the worst of all! Many students are doing this practice, whether during finals or test. It not only panics you out, but also everything that you study that night or that day itself, will not enter into your mind.

5. Get plenty of rest!

I understand that getting enough sleep is quite a struggle for many college students, but still, it is very important. This is because getting a good night sleep, your brain and mind would be able to relax and processed everything that you have studied that day. It keeps you fit and your mind mentally prepared for more studying the next day!

If this method works for you, don’t keep it to yourself! Share it with anybody who might need this tip! After all, sharing is caring šŸ˜Š isn’t?
