Mental disorders are real in this drama
By Jasmyne
This is a Korean drama that tells the story of an orphaned caretaker, Gang-tae, who struggles with his self-esteem and works at a psychiatric ward, which lacks time for love, who then falls in love with a successful children’s book author, Moon-young, who does not know the feeling of love due to having antisocial personality disorder since she was a child. This also shows a little on the insight about the psychologic
al disorders in today’s world such as antisocial personality disorder, autism spectrum and self-esteem issues.
I personally really like watching this drama because I like studying psychology and I also get to know more about these disorders and to see the actors and actress bringing it to life. Not to mention the story plot, cinematography of it all was so well put together!
I say this because in today’s world, nobody really talks about these disorders and how they are affecting the mind of children/young adults, and due to that, children/young adults grow up not knowing what should they do about it? Adding to it, this drama’s music had me emotionally linked to it and I loved listening to the soundtrack.
I would give it 5 stars rating because it is THAT GOOD. And honestly, after watching this, I realized that it really is okay to not be okay sometimes, cause everyone’s feelings and emotions are valid and it matters.
