Seeing the trend, Faculty of Data Science and Information Technology (FDSIT), co-organized with Phenikaa University from Vietnam, a Webinar of “Big Data Analytics and Technologies” on 4th March 2022 inviting eight experience and superior keynote speakers from INTI International University, Phenikaa University, Airasia Academy (Redbeat Academy), and ZTE Malaysia to share their knowledge and experiences in research and development of big data analytics and technologies both in the academic and industry.

Among the interesting topics are: “Sampling in Big Data” by Dr. Thanh Trinh, Phenikaa; “Big data and mobile user experience in the 5G era” by Dr. Diong Kah Seng, ZTE; “Representation of Hidden Chemistry with Machine Learning by Dr. Pham Tien Lam, Phenikaa; “Deep Learning Approach in Rehab Movement Classification” by Dr. Fadilla ‘Atyka, INTI International University; “Deep Learning-Aided 6G Wireless Networks by Dr. Thien Van Luong, Phenikaa; “Turning Data Into Actionable Insights” by Dr. Yu Yong Poh, Airasia Academy; “An overview of recent applications of time-expanded networks to combinatorial optimization problems” by Dr. Vu Duc Minh, Phenikaa, and “Feature Selection and Classification by Dr. Liyana Rosely, INTI International University.

The webinar successfully attracted not only local but also international participants from Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Somalia, Bangladesh, and Bhutan. More than 130 participants received participation certificates among these 69% are students, 26% lecturers and 5% researcher and others, with more than 93% of them satisfied with the webinar. FDSIT also received an invitation from Republic of Maldives to organize the Webinar for their students and staff in the near future.
