Celebrated all around the world the Lunar New Year, one of the biggest and most important celebration is celebrated by Chinese Communities from New York, Shanghai to Malaysia to welcome in the New Year.

Ushering in the Year of the Tiger, with the spirit of resilience and hope, celebrations ensued as INTI Family slowly returned to INTI International University. Known for its bravery, vigour and strength, we believe the Year of the Tiger will lift the INTI Family out of the adversities of the years before, as we welcome 2022 in an embrace of peace and prosperity.

Rising above the challenges of the pandemic, the inner Tiger in all INTians was brought to live with a festive hybrid celebration on the 16th of February 2022 with exciting activities to engage the INTI Family with short quizzes hosted by the quirky and fun, Alex Leong to the iconic Lion Parade that followed.

Jumping to the beat of clashing drums and cymbals, the made in Malaysia version of the Lion Dance saw skilful performers creating that much needed bustling and exciting atmosphere that the INTI Family truly needed to kick-start 2022.

To end the sweetness of the Lunar celebrations, a nicely packaged sweet and savoury treat with an Asian dish was shared with our INTI Family to tickle the palette as we reminisce the glory days of the INTI International University Nilai Festival celebrations as we look forward to finally celebrating upcoming cultural festivals like one big family.
