The memorable Chinese New Year 2022 celebration at INTI International College Penang (IICP) was held on 14th February 2022. The strict adherence to the Covid 19 SOPs was not a deterence to the celebration mood of staff and students.
After almost two years of no physical festive celebration at the campus, on 14 February, the IICP community took the opportunity to usher the Year of Tiger with the loud bang of fire crackers and lion dance. In addition, the CNY celebration coincide with the Valentine’s Day, where staffs and students were entertained with various traditional craft and delicacy making processes at the exhibition foyer.
The Student Council (INTIMA), School of Hospitality students and International students join together to inspire and enrich the audience with the cultural activities such as calligraphy making and traditional games. Specially handmade cupcakes, mandarin oranges and gifts were given away as festive souvenirs for staff.
