Faculty of Health and Life Sciences and Student Services Department co-organized New Student Orientation on 8 July to welcome the new faces of Physiotherapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Programs, launched by the Dean of the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, AP. Dr. S. Geetha Subramaniam.

Associate Prof. Dr. Geetha Subramaniam, Dean of the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences launched the Orientation for Physiotherapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine programs, standing.

Program briefing was conducted by the each Head of Programme respectively, Mr. Rajkumar Krishnan Vasanthi for Physiotherapy students and Dr. Aik Teng Heng for Traditional Chinese Medicine students, after which there were student activities briefing by Mr. Ravi Nagarathanam and the opening remarks delivered by Associate Prof. Dr. Chan Kait Loon, Director of the Student Services Department. Ms. Nabilla Waheda Hashim, Student Counsellor, also briefed the new students on the counseling services available for them, especially in adapting to transitioning to the new environment.

The session was intended to help all new students to acclimate to their new university environment. All new first-year students to INTI International University must participate in this New Student Orientation.

During orientation, they will meet with other students, faculty members, and admin staff; begin learning to develop academic and co-curricular goals; become familiar with campus resources, and schedule courses for their first semester to start putting their academic plan into action.

To prepare for a successful transition to INTI International University orientation has been developed to help students navigate their next steps as INTIans.
