Being the only tertiary education institution as supporting partner, 79 students from School of Business, INTI International College Penang participated in the Student Volunteer Programme for the SEMICON Southeast Asia 2022 held on 21 to 23 June.

Students were tasked a variety of industrial challenges ranging from problem solving to showcasing leadership in working groups to support an event where more than 450 exhibitors and 250 companies participated, with a record breaking of more than 7,000 visitors attending the 3-day event at Setia SPICE Convention Centre & Area, Penang. This exposure and experience provided INTI International College Penang students valuable experience and strengthened synergy.

At the end of the event, students were awarded by the organisers as the Top 5 students:

Congratulations Chew Rui Qing, Foo Chuan Hao, Lee Jia Ying, Jordan Gui Wen Hang, and Tan Yong Zhang!

  • MPV Award has been granted to Chew Rui Qing
  • Most resourceful award won by Lee Jia Ying
  • Foo Chua Hao won the Most Amicable Award
