Variety is the spice of life!
In the effort to satiate the differing ‘appetites’ of our staff and students, INTIMA spearheaded the initiative to bring in several food trucks offering a variety of delicacies to the Campus. The food trucks received a relatively good response from staff and students alike. Throughout the period of four days, different vendors were engaged to set up shop to offer their specialty treats to the hungry crowd.
Some of the treats from the food trucks include our local delight ‘murtabak’, Korean snacks such as ‘tteokbokki’ and cheesy fried chicken, healthy poke bowls, and even numerous cooling sweet treats such as ice-cream and smoothies. IICP staff and students had the chance to patronize two food trucks each day offering delicious food for a change. The response was encouraging with long queues at the respective food trucks even in the sweltering heat.
Overall, the vendors were pleased with the reception from IICP staff and students while the latter gave only good reviews on the menu offered by the vendors. There has been a request by students to make it a regular affair as it gives them more meal options without having to leave the Campus in search of light snacks and a quick bite in between classes.
