Competitions and events in Subang’s school of Hospitality (SOHOS) never seem to cease every semester! On the 25th of June 2022, INTI Subang’s SOHOS team comprising of supervising chef, Chef Darren Ng and Diploma in Culinary Arts students, Hari Harvinder and Lan Jie competed in the US Potatoes Cooking Competition 2022 held at UOW Malaysia, KDU Glenmarie Campus, Shah Alam. It was indeed a proud moment for the Faculty as the students brought home the Champion title along with the cash prize worth RM3,000

The Diploma in Hotel Management students on the other hand, executed their semester planned events in the month of July. One of the projects – INTI Food Fest got the campus community excited when presented with abundant food choices such as walking hotpot, bubble waffles, tacos, lasagne, kopitiam-style beverages and many more on the 7th to 8th July 2022 at the INTI Driveway. The organising students definitely got a sweet taste of entrepreneurship, making a profit of RM3271 from the 2-day food fest. Job well done to students of the Entrepreneurship Skills – SSC1120 April 2022 class!

One of the major highlights for July has got to be the Dansaeyo K-Pop Dance Cover Competition which was held on the 8th at the Tan Yew Sing auditorium here in INTI Subang. With the objective of introducing K-Pop dance culture as well as increasing the brand awareness of INTI International College Subang to the general public, the Event Management – DHM2101 students April 2022 class definitely outdid their initial goal with their actual performance. The event saw a total participation of 162 competitors and 208 spectators. The students generated an income of RM 5,550 from participation fees and ticket sales! It was a night to remember for all, especially the organisers and participants.
