The August affiliates’ recruitment drive took place on Aug 22nd – 26th, 2022 which saw the participation of over 10 clubs and societies namely Japanese ACG (JACG) Society, Bursa Young Investor Club (BYIC), Christian Fellowship (CF), Hype+, Nerf Club, Debate Club, Pre-U Society, 24 Festive Drums Club, Ultimate Frisbee Club, and Chess Club.

Hype+ & Nerf Club was the most visited booth which got them the advantage to recruit the greatest number of new members

It was organized by INTIMA to provide affiliate clubs and societies the opportunity to introduce and promote themselves to fellow INTIans and recruit new members.

The recruitment drive occupied the entire Level 5 foyer, and each Clubs took the chance to decorate their booths to stand out and attract fellow students to their booth. The JACG society and Nerf Club booths were bustling with activity, with JACG society having an extensive set-up of PCs for gaming experience and Nerf Club displaying a variety of Nerf guns collection for keen passers-by to test out. Both JACG Society and Nerf Club had quite a reception and successfully managed to enroll 12 and 20 members, respectively.

Nerf Club’s booth was a crowd puller as students were given the opportunity to test out the various types of Nerf guns on display.

However, the Club with the most new enrollments was Hype+, which had a record-breaking 53 new recruits in four days. Hype+ saw the influx of new registrations as they capitalized on the avenue to promote their upcoming event – Running Fighter, an adaptation of the popular South Korean reality TV show Running Man. This piqued the interest of fellow INTIans who eventually signed up as members to be a part of the exciting occasion.

Overall, it was a fruitful five day for all the clubs and societies that grabbed the opportunity to engage in good publicity and create awareness amongst fellow INTIans.
