Institutions of Higher Learning Games 2022 also known as SUKIPT was held from 12th to 21st  August at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). The event that saw local institutions competing in various sports also received an overwhelming response from INTI International University student-athletes. Malaysian prime minister, YAB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri also delivered his opening remarks at the event.

SUKIPT was well attended by 8 students from INTI International University, Nilai who participated enthusiastically in various sports like badminton, track and field, swimming, discus throw, and more.

The finalists who made it to the final round were Wong Huei Wern, representing for javelin thrown and women’s 5000 meter while Beh Chong Sin, competing in discus throw. Badminton doubles were played by Yajavarthinan Rajasekar and her partner Low Chong Wei, whereas Gagan Jit Singh competing for men’s singles. We were also proud to have Ha Chin Ying who performed effortlessly in the chess competition while Tee Chuan Kee and Sakthi Shree Nair did amazingly well in taekwondo.  

SUKIPT 2022 also provides an excellent opportunity for athletes to build networking with athletes from other institutions.

We truly appreciate all students who have made so much effort into SUKIPT 2022. You have gone above and beyond to make this whole event successful! Our special thanks to those who have shown their commitment and support throughout this event. We hope to receive more aspiring athletes in the next SUKIPT.
