‘Hopping’ into the new Lunar New Year, SOHOS kickstarts the month full of events by celebrating the faculty’s graduates. The INTI 2023 Graduation ceremony that took place on the 15th of January at Connexion @ Nexus Bangsar South City, Kuala Lumpur saw students from Diploma in Hotel Management, Diploma in Culinary Arts, and Bachelor’s Degree in Business and International Resort Management receive their scrolls with their parents, lecturers, and loved ones attending the event.
Some highlights of the event included INTIMA week where the SOHOS committee members welcomed new members on board at their mocktails booth. The atmosphere at the driveway was lively with music playing while all the clubs offered entertainment, food, beverages, and more to coax students to join their clubs and societies.
Another joy of celebrating Chinese New Year was The Lion dance and setting off firecrackers at the entrance of INTI College Subang. Staff from SOHOS took part in multiple competitions such as calligraphy writing, guessing the number of bunnies in the jar, as well as lantern making! It was indeed a memorable event when SOHOS was announced as the first runner-up in the lantern-making competition. With all the events for students and staff happening, one thing is for sure: more can be expected in the months to come. May this Year of the water Rabbit bring us all renewed peace, hope, and prosperity!
