Valentine’s Day is a special day that is celebrated around the world as a celebration of love and affection. At INTI, we believe that Valentine’s Day is not just a day for couples to express their love for one another. In fact, the special day can be celebrated amongst classmates and friends too, as we cherish the friendship and bond with one another.
Seeing an opportunity to spread love and raise funds for the Club, the American Degree Transfer Programme (AUP) club organized a one-day Valentine’s Day on Campus to the delight of fellow INTIans. The Club mobilized the sale of sweet treats such as brownies and cookies and even organized a ‘DIY’ session for those who wish to gift handmade tokens to their love interest and friends.
The Organising Committee invested their time and effort fueled with love to produce the lovely treats that sold out like hot cakes. The DIY booth on-site for jewelry-making was a hit with fellow INTIans and the Club received such an overwhelming response on the event day. The reception was more than anticipated, which was a great thing. The visitors and supporters to the booth all had great fun along with the organisers and it was certainly a joyful day for many.
In addition to gift-giving and expressing affection, the AUP Valentine’s Day was also a time for socializing and having fun. It was a day to show our appreciation for the people in our lives who make a difference, whether they are our friends or significant other. It is a day when we can spread love and kindness and make the world a better place.
