The School of Hospitality (SOHOS) at INTI International College Subang keeps receiving invitations from renowned companies in the hospitality industry, offering students opportunities to expand their knowledge and skills. One such invitation came from Monin Asia, a leading syrup and beverage solutions company, inviting students for a factory tour and engaging session on the 1st of February.

The students got an opportunity to experience the production process of Monin syrups and learn about the various uses of these syrups in the hospitality industry. The session was not only informative but also interactive, giving the students a chance to engage with Monin Asia’s team and ask questions.

In a separate event, Broadmoor, a luxury hotel and resort in the United States, organized an internship talk for students planning to undertake internships in The US in their final semester. The event was held on 20th February, and it was a great opportunity for students to learn about the internship opportunities available at the Broadmoor resort. The students also got to interact with the representative from Broadmoor, who provided them with valuable insights and information about working in The US hospitality industry. The event was a significant milestone in the students’ career development, and it provided them with a platform to network and learn about internship opportunities in the US.

Sunway Resort Hotel also invited the School of Hospitality students for the Sunway Career Talk & Hotel Tour on the 23rd of February. The students were given a tour of the hotel and an opportunity to learn about the various departments in the hospitality industry. The event also included a career talk, where the students got to learn about the career opportunities available not only at Sunway Resort Hotel, but also the other hospitality properties such as the Sunway Pyramid Hotel, Sunway Lagoon Hotel as well as the other famous F&B outlets such as the Gordon Ramsey Restaurant and the upcoming Black Tap casual dining restaurant.The event was informative, and the students got an insight into the daily operations of a hotel, providing them with a realistic view of what working in the hospitality industry entails.

These events have been significant in the students’ career development, providing them with opportunities to learn about the hospitality industry and the career opportunities available. The students got to network with professionals in the industry, which is vital for their career growth. These events have provided a platform for the students to gain hands-on experience, learn about the latest trends in the industry, and acquire the knowledge and skills required to excel in their careers. One thing is for sure, the students at the School of Hospitality here in INTI Subang can look forward to more of such events in the future.
