There’s something about grooving to the sound of music that seems to take all our cares away. That’s what the Performing Arts Club of INTI College Sabah (ICS) has in store for all the students and staff: a monthly exercise called Just Dance, to foster a healthy study environment at campus.  What a good way to start April 2023 session!!!

After the 1st session on 5 April 2023, the Organizing Chairperson of the club, David Joshua Chuk, a student in Diploma in Accounting programme, said that engaging in physical activities that involve dance changes you. From better physical and mental health to a boost in emotional and social well-being.  Moving your body to the sound of music can really transform your life. The dances include random steps projected on the screen and the popular line dance “poco poco” which is fun and easy to follow. The Vice Organizing Chairperson, Caroline Jayde, from Diploma in Business programmes guides the participants to move to the rhythm of some favourite tunes that would get them up and off their chairs.

Enjoying the poco-poco dance.

The benefits of dancing are endless. All students and staff are welcomed to join this monthly exercise at the Student Lounge. So, grab a friend, join this class, and get moving!
