In an endeavour to bridge the gap between aspiring students and their dream universities, the University Placement Office (UPO) recently organized the UK & Australia Edu Fair 2023 on April 18th. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 23 renowned universities hailing from both the United Kingdom and Australia. It served as an exceptional platform for students to gather valuable insights on various aspects of university life, including fees, scholarships, living costs, and entry requirements. The event was open to all INTI students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, creating a dynamic and inclusive atmosphere.
One of the key highlights of the event was the opportunity for attendees to interact directly with university representatives. The presence of representatives from prestigious institutions such as the University of Leeds, the University of Sheffield, Swansea University, the University of Adelaide, the University of New South Wales, and the Queensland University of Technology made the event even more significant. Albeit brief, the event serves as a one-stop centre for student to conveniently seek information about their desired universities and save themselves from time-consuming research.
The event aimed to foster an atmosphere of exploration and discovery, allowing students to learn more about their desired courses and make informed comparisons between universities. By engaging directly with university representatives, attendees were able to gain valuable insights and clarify any doubts they had. This immersive experience was particularly valuable for those who needed guidance about their future academic pursuits and wanted to explore alternative options.
Participants and visitors to the event were rewarded with door gifts that added to the excitement for the day. Additionally, there was a lucky draw on-site offering attendees the chance to win enticing prizes. The lucky draw items included multi-purpose electric cookers, cosy hoodies, high-quality Bluetooth speakers, versatile multi-cable chargers, as well as Starbucks and Grab vouchers. The prizes not only served as delightful souvenirs but also added an element of surprise and anticipation to the event. The event has ultimately demonstrated UPO’s commitment in supporting students in their pursuit of higher education and has undoubtedly helped countless INTIans in making informed decisions about their academic future.
